Bar Crispin

Bar Crispin is the perfect place to wind down over a glass of good wine and high-quality bites with friends after a long day of work.

You can feel the liveliness of the Carnaby area, but the atmosphere of Bar Crispin is still small and cosy. The inside is more intimate with dim lights and candle lit counter top tables that we describe as chique-casual. The staff is very friendly and gives great advice on food and drink pairings.

When it comes to wine, the list is 6 pages long filled with a variety of all-natural wines from indigenous and rare grape varieties. This impressive selection pairs beautifully with their bites to eat. The tapas-style food is classic yet inventive and made with fresh produce. Everything we ate was delightful - we had fresh oysters, polenta chips, burrata, beef tartare, burnt leeks with sesame dressing and pork rib. And while usually bread butter is usually the filler of the table, this sourdough bread and creamy butter spread were to die for!

Price per head 34 per person for wine and 7 plates. It’s worth mentioning that while Bar Crispin is a high-quality experience, portions are not huge.
