Taka Marylebone

While Taka Marelybone is right on the Marylebone High Street, its modest exterior makes it so that there’s a pretty big chance you’ve walked by without noticing it.

However, we’re here to tell you that it’s definitely worth a try!! The quality of the food is innegligible, and the atmosphere is sophisticated, calming, and warm.

Out of the sushi, the crispy cod roll is a standout. While the sushi was undoubtedly fresh and so delicious it melted in our mouths, we were most impressed by their non-sushi dishes. We highly recommend trying the Wagyu Sukiyaki Rice bowl (slow Cooked Kagoshima A5 Wagyu Onsen Egg with Sukiyaki Sauce). And the popcorn shrimp is a fun starter to share.

The price range is quite spread with starters and dishes ranging from 6-15 pounds and some other robata on the pricier end of 34+ pounds.
